Origins

The InterCity Amateur Radio Club was founded in 1933 in Mansfield, Ohio. Bart Gibb served as the club's first president. The original constitution and bylaws were adopted that same year, establishing the framework for a club that would serve the amateur radio community for generations.

Over the decades, the club has maintained an active presence through repeater operations, public service events, emergency communications, and community outreach across Richland County.
